What options appear when I right click on a Category or a Subcategory?

There are a number of basic options that are available when you right click on a Category or Subcategory. Everything discussed in this article occurs after right clicking (option-click on a Mac) on an Category or Subcategory.  

1. Create

Right click on a Category to create a new Subcategory within that Category

The new Subcategory will have the name of "New node" until modified.

2. Rename

Rename

Allows modification to any Category or Subcategory name.

2.1. Allows the name of the Category or Subcategory to be modified

Allows the name of the Category or Subcategory to be modified

Type in the new name of the Category or Subcategory and hit "Enter" when completed.

3. Delete

Delete

Delete will delete a Category or Subcategory. There is no undo button if anything is deleted!

3.1. Delete will permanently delete any Category or Subcategory. You will receive a pop-up notification confirming the delete since there is no undo option.

Hit "OK" to permanently delete a Category or Subcategory.

4. Edit

Edit

Edit allows you to "Cut", "Copy", and "Paste" any Category and Subcategory.

4.1. Copy - copies any Category or Subcategory and related pages

4.2. Cut - cuts the Category or Subcategory to be moved to a different location

4.3. Paste - paste any Category or Subcategory that was previously Cut or Copied

Right click on a Category that you want to paste a previously "Cut" or "Copied" Category or Subcategory within. The new "Pasted" Category or Subcategory will be associated with the Category or Subcategory that it was pasted within.

5. Publish the Catalog to ensure your users can see the changes
