How many Category levels are available?

You can create as many Category levels as you would like!

Create a Parent Category (Level 1)

Click "Add Top Level Category"

Name the Parent Category (Level 1)

Name the Parent Category (Level 1)

A pop-up window appears.

  • Type in the name of the Parent Category (Level 1)
  • Click "Save Changes"

Create a Child Category (Level 2) - Double click on the Parent Category (Level 1)

Create a Child Category (Level 2) - Double click on the Parent Category (Level 1)

Click "Add your First Child Category"

Click "Add your First Child Category"

Name the Child Category (Level 2)

Name the Child Category (Level 2)
  • Type in the name of the Child Category (Level 2)
  • Click "Save Changes"

Create a Grandchild Category (Level 3) - Double click on the Child Category (Level 2)

Create a Grandchild Category (Level 3) - Double click on the Child Category (Level 2)
Navigate to the "Subcategories" tab and click "Add your First Subcategory"

Name the Grandchild Category (Level 3)

Name the Grandchild Category (Level 3)
  • Type in the name of the Grandchild Category (Level 3)
  • Click "Save Changes"

Repeat steps to create all necessary Categories

Example Category structure:

  • Parent Category (Level 1) - "Types of Clothing"
  • Child Category (Level 2) - "Shorts"
  • Grandchild Category (Level 3) - "Fabric Type"
  • Great-Grandchild Category (Level 4) - "Jorts (Jean Shorts)"

There is a "2" after "Jorts (Jean Shorts)" because that Category has two Pages.
