How do I add an image to a Page Card?
Using the Image URL field within CloudStax you can display an image on Page Cards to provide more information to users before they tap into the page. Below are instructions on how to add an image.
The height and width of the image used on the page card is 80x80 (in pixels). However, larger image sizes will be appropriately scaled down to fit inside the image area.
Even though the image area is a square, your image doesn't have to be. Wide images will be centered vertically and tall images will be centered horizontally.
1. Obtain a URL that points to an image
One way to do this is by uploading an image to the Resources section within your Catalog. Once uploaded, click on the resource then under Sharing click "Show options". From here select and copy the "Resource File Link (full size)" URL. You can also use a URL that points to an image on your website.
The image should be a PNG or JPG.
2. Go to a Page and click "Edit"
3. Add the URL within the Image URL field
The example below is the "Resource File Link" URL from an image that was uploaded to the Resources within CloudStax.
4. Click "Save Changes"
The Catalog needs to be published live for the changes to be seen within the app.
