How to format a dropdown question

1. After adding the dropdown question, click the large pencil

4. Click "Add Option" to add a dropdown answer value

5. Add in the first answer dropdown value in the Display Name field

Display name is what is shown within the form on the iPad.

6. Value will automatically populate with the display name value or you can modify the value

Value is what is shown within the submission history and within CloudStax. If you have a connector setup, value is what is synced over via the connector.

7. Repeat steps 4-6 until all answers are added

8. To modify the order of the answers, hover to the left of the answer, then click and hold down on the arrows

9. While still holding on the arrows, move the answer to the correct order

10. You can have the answers sorted alphabetically by clicking "Sort Alphabetically"

11. Click Continue to save the answers

15. Default Value adds a default value that will be submitted if another answer is not selected

16. To make the question required, check the box associated to "Field is Required"

If the field is required, a submission will not be accepted if an answer is not selected. A red * appears next to the question to indicate requirement.
